Helping young people build bright futures

We’re on a mission to help young people facing adversity in our communities achieve their potential by removing barriers to employment.

In the UK we’ve partnered with The King’s Trust since 2013, supporting over 2,500 young people through programmes delivered across our stores, distribution centres and head office, opening doors to employment and apprenticeship opportunities while helping them grow in confidence and skills.

In Germany we partner with Kolping to deliver retail employability programmes that support young people facing barriers to work. Through training, work experience and ongoing support, participants build confidence and develop the skills to help them get into work.

Supporting young entrepreneurs

In 2025, we launched an exciting new programme helping The King’s Trust young entrepreneurs to build the skills, knowledge and confidence to help grow their businesses.

We share our retail know-how so they can learn how to develop and sell their products. At the end of the programme, they even get the chance to pitch their ideas to our Buyers, with the chance to see their products in our stores in the future.
