Corporate Responsibility

Supporting families in rural communities

Since 2008, TK Maxx has been supporting 12 communities in the Rwenzori region of Western Uganda. Working with over 6,000 small-holder farmers, producers and artisans, our Sustainable Trade Programme was developed to enable parents to increase their incomes and help send their children to school.

Cancer Research UK for Children & Young People

For two decades, we’ve proudly partnered with Cancer Research UK (CRUK), raising more than £50 million to fund life-saving research aimed at preventing, detecting and treating cancers affecting children and young people.

Our support includes long-standing initiatives like associate fundraising, customer donations, charity merchandise and our standout campaign Give Up Clothes for Good. Through this campaign, TK Maxx customers and associates have donated nearly 2 million bags of quality pre-loved fashion and textiles – turning clothes into vital funds for cancer research.

The TK Maxx & Homesense Foundation

The TK Maxx and Homesense Foundation’s mission is to support vulnerable children, young people, and their families to achieve their potential in our local communities. Over the last 10 years, the Foundation has approved over £10 million to thousands of local and national charities across Europe.

Fairtrade cotton

The Fairtrade certified cotton in our Red Nose Day T-shirts, sweatshirts, totes, pouches and aprons was grown by farmers in Uganda.
