    The affected units were on sale in TK Maxx stores in December 2018 and January 2019. They were supplied with blue ‘GaoLe’ branded AAA batteries. We have found that some of these batteries could leak which may pose a safety risk. Units supplied with other batteries are not affected and are safe to use.

    Product Recall: Westlab Himalayan Salt Lamp

    TK Maxx and Homesense are recalling the Westlab Himalayan Salt Lamp due to a potential safety concern affecting one batch.

    The product was on sale in TK Maxx and Homesense stores in the UK and ROI in November 2018, December 2018 and January 2019. We have identified a safety issue with one of the electrical components which may pose a risk of electric shock. The safety of our customers is very important to us and we are taking this action as a precaution.

    Gentek Wireless Charging Pad

    TK Maxx are recalling the GENTEK WIRELESS CHARGING PAD as it may overheat or present a fire hazard.

    The affected product comes in black and white styles and the rear of the packaging is marked with one of the following product codes – “26011”, “26012”, “26021” or “26022”. The styles were on sale in TK Maxx stores in the UK and ROI in March and April 2019.

    'Barkley & Finn' Dog Coats

    TK Maxx and Homesense are recalling certain Barkley & Finn Dog Coats due to a potential safety issue.

    The affected styles feature a fabric loop on the back of the coat and may have a metal D-ring attached. The fabric loop and D-ring are not designed to support a dog lead and may break during use. A hole in the neck area is provided to allow customers to attach their lead to the dog’s collar.

    The styles were on sale in TK Maxx and Homesense stores in the UK and ROI between September 2017 and January 2019.

    If you purchased any affected products, please do not attach a dog lead to the loop or D-ring. Customers may return their product to any TK Maxx or Homesense store in the UK or ROI for a full refund.

    Koo-di Teether

    Koo-di has notified us that it is recalling the Elephant and Car Teethers (models KD851 and KD852) due to a potential safety concern affecting the press stud on the detachable strap.

    The press stud on the detachable strap can come away posing a potential choking hazard. The teether itself is safe for use without the strap.

    The product was on sale in TK Maxx stores in the UK and ROI between July 2019 and August 2019.
