Our Initiatives

Net Zero
We plan to continue to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by implementing energy efficiency initiatives and purchasing renewable energy.

Since 2018 we have been fitting stores and distribution centres with LED lighting which bring a proven reduction in energy consumption, and this programme continues.
We have reduced our greenhouse gas emissions by 85% from FY17-FY23 in our own operations.*

Waste Management

We have a range of initiatives which include recovery and recycling centres where we reuse and recycle items such as hangers, cardboard, and plastics.

In addition to our diversion of operational waste, we are proud of our Give Up Clothes For Good campaign, a textile collection programme which we have been running since 2004, which helps to keep resources in use for longer.

Our Packaging

Our packaging is designed to ensure your treasure gets to you safely while minimising the amount of waste that could go to landfill.

Our mailer bags are made with at least 80% recycled content, 60% of which comes from post-consumer waste. This helps reduce the need for virgin raw materials and keeps resources in use for longer.

Our cardboard boxes are made with FSC-certified cardboard from responsible sources and are fully recyclable.
