Comic Relief's Red Nose Day

This year, our Red Nose Day range features all your favourite Mr. Men Little Miss characters. Mr. Happy, Little Miss Fabulous, Mr. Bump and the whole crew have teamed up to support the amazing work of Comic Relief. Get ready to make a difference your way with our exclusive Red Nose Day range, available in store and online.

Since 2005, together with our customers, we have raised over £31.5 million for Comic Relief. Funds raised have helped over 1.5 million children and young people facing the toughest times of their lives here in the UK and across the world.

Comic Relief supports people going through tough times, whether they're impacted by the cost of living crisis, the drought in East Africa, or the recent, heartbreaking earthquake in Syria and Turkey.

How much money gets donated?

Who does the money help?

Across the UK and around the world, there are Comic Relief-funded projects helping children and young people. They fund organisations that not only catch people when they’re in crisis, providing emergency support; but also aim to build a better future by helping people to grow their capacity and resilience, so that they don’t end up in crisis again.

George, 9 from the UK

George is autistic, meaning he faces challenges which until recently, were making life very difficult for him. Unable to express his emotions, George felt increasingly angry, upset and frustrated with his life. Whilst George was at his lowest, his mum heard about Autism Angels, a local charity working with young people and their families in the Yorkshire countryside. Each week, George attends Wellbeing Wednesdays sessions, funded by Comic Relief, where he and the group take a long walk together before spending time with the horses. Wellbeing Wednesdays have helped George to become a happier, more confident person.

Let’s meet some of the characters

This year’s specially created designs feature iconic Mr. Men Little Miss characters including Little Miss Sunshine, Mr. Greedy and Mr. Small. Fancy meeting some of them?

  • Mr. Small is about as big as a pin, which isn’t very big at all. He's so small, you probably won’t see him at all.

  • Meet Mr. Greedy. Did you know he once ate a Red Nose thinking it was a cherry!

  • Meet Little Miss Sunshine. She has a purple car and always looks on the bright side of life.

  • Mr. Messy is the messiest person you could ever meet. He looks messy because he is messy in everything he does.

Curious about the cotton used to make our Red Nose Day range?

All of the cotton in our Red Nose Day T-shirts, sweatshirts, totes and aprons is Fairtrade-certified, traded, audited and sourced from Fairtrade producers. Visit www.info.fairtrade.net for more info.

The Ugandan cotton is grown using only rain water irrigation and is sourced from the Rwenzori Farmers Marketing Co-operative Society.

Made up of over 400 farmers who've been supported by TK Maxx since 2012, and Comic Relief since 2022, The Co-operative helps increase farmers' capacity to grow top quality cotton, raise their incomes and send their children to school. The cotton was first used for the Red Nose Day T-shirts in the 2015 campaign and we’re delighted to continue to use the cotton for our T-shirts, and in our sweatshirts, totes and aprons in the 2023 campaign, too.

Red Nose Day is an initiative of Comic Relief which is the operating name of Charity Projects, registered charity 326568 (England/ Wales), SC039730 (Scotland). MR. MENTM LITTLE MISSTM © 2022 THOIP (a SANRIO Company). All rights reserved.
