WE VALUE OUR ASSOCIATES
Integrity and Opportunity
Openness and honesty is integral to everything we do as a business. Whether our role brings us into contact with vendors, customers or fellow Associates, we ensure that we treat everyone with honesty and respect. This helps us to build supportive working relationships and therefore a stronger business.
As a business that is always growing, we want to continue to attract brilliant new associates who thrive in our fast-paced environment. It also means thereís loads of great new opportunities coming up for existing associates to try new things.
Developing and Rewarding Our People
A quick glance at our product range will tell you we donít believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. And the same thing goes for our people. We value their diversity, and actively encourage different views, backgrounds and origins. Itís this freedom that makes TJX Europe such a creative, energetic and fun place to work.
Welfare to work is a scheme designed to get people who have been out of work for a long time back into the workforce. Weíve had an initial Education to Employment trial with Action for Children and work with Job Centre Plus in certain regions of the UK. We do not support compulsory non paid work experience in our business.
Weíve also extended our five year relationship with Remploy and continue to remain committed to making our own workplace more accessible for people with disabilities.
Developing our people
We take our responsibility as an employer seriously: we give our associates all the tools they need to deliver great results whether it is through our comprehensive induction, on-going training programmes or supporting fast-track career progression through our Graduate Development and TJXcellence programmes. We also believe itís important to recognise the achievements of our associates and reward them.
Our salaries are reviewed on an annual basis, ensuring we remain competitive against some of the biggest names in the industry. We also have a number of performance bonus schemes, depended on the achievement of company targets.
