Emma Bridgewater and Red Nose Day
British pottery maker Emma Bridgewater has created an exclusive homeware range for Red Nose Day 2013.
The specially designed range includes the distinctive Emma Bridgewater black text, featuring a series of funny phrases along with a specially designed red nose and Emma Bridgewater for Comic Relief crest.
It’s the perfect way to bring the spirit of baking and fundraising together, inspiring thousands of people across the UK to roll up their sleeves and host bake sales and tea parties to raise money for Comic Relief.
"I was delighted to be asked to design a series of mugs and textiles to support Red Nose Day 2013. Matthew and I had great fun creating the range and we hope the products will carry the Comic Relief message into tens of thousands of kitchens and help change countless lives both here on our doorsteps in the UK and in Africa."
About Emma Bridgewater
Emma Bridgewater and her husband, Matthew Rice, design every piece of pottery themselves – inspired by their home, their children and even their chickens.
All their pottery is made by hand in a Victorian factory in Stoke-on-Trent, keeping the area’s traditional skills alive and ensuring that each piece has a real integrity.
It remains a family business and employs more than 200 people in Stoke-on-Trent.
