Privacy Policy

Many of the ways in which you interact with the Site allow us to learn more about you. We collect and store statistics and other information about the online activities of our visitors on an aggregated (collective) basis. For example, we track the number of people who view each page to learn which features are the most popular. In these instances, however, we do not obtain personally identifiable information about you. When we do collect personally identifiable information, you have the option of choosing to reveal it to us. For example, when you answer our polls, enter prize draws or competitions, fill out the email sign-up page andclick the "Opt In" button or send us feedback, you are voluntarily submitting personally identifiable information.

We may use the information we collect occasionally to notify you about new TK Maxx services or features, important functional changes to the Site and special offers we think you’ll find valuable. In order to perform these functions, we may engage the services of a third party processor in the United Kingdom for the purpose of managing this database of information as well as our correspondences with you (the "Information Management Service"). However, neither we nor the Information Management Service will pass on your personally identifiable information to any other third parties except as specifically provided herein. So, for example, neither we nor the Information Management Service will pass on your email address or your name and personal demographic information to mass marketers. We do use information about usage of the Site to better understand how the Site is being used, but this is never passed on to any other third parties except as specifically provided below. We may share this information with TJX in the United States or other affiliated companies of TK Maxx (i.e., those companies that have the same corporate parent as TK Maxx). We may also cross-reference this information with other information you have opted to give to us in a non-electronic medium (for example, in one of our stores).

Occasionally, users of the Site will have the opportunity to win prizes through participation in periodic prize draws, competitions and other promotions. To enter, we will ask that you provide your name, email address and street address for the purpose of contacting you should you win and wish to receive the prize and for the purpose of adding you to the database of information referred to above. We will also ask you to provide your age. The personal information we collect from you in this manner will only be used as described in this Privacy Policy.

From time to time, TK Maxx may offer certain promotions in conjunction with third parties that allow you to "Opt In" to receiving promotional materials and/or participation in contests or prize draws offered as part of the promotion. For example, such promotions may occur where a third party can provide a service or product that we think you would enjoy but which TK Maxx may not be able to offer alone, including but not limited to opportunities to win free flights, vacations, books or gift certificates for other services or products. By choosing to "Opt In" to such promotions, you are voluntarily submitting the personally identifiable information described in the previous paragraph to the third party involved with the promotion, as well as to TK Maxx. In the event that a promotion does involve a third party, it will be disclosed to you on the webpage where you have the opportunity to "Opt In". Once the personally identifiable information is passed to the third party involved in such promotion, TK Maxx shall have no further control over the applicable third party’s use of such information. For further information, please refer to the paragraph regarding Links to Other Sites and Services. Unsubscribing or "Opting Out" of the TK Maxx active database, as described below, will not automatically allow you to "Opt Out" from the third party’s active database. To do so, you must contact the third party directly regarding their unsubscribe policy.

In addition, we will never knowingly use a sweepstakes, contest, or promotion to collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. For example, you must be at least 13 years old to participate in any of our prize draws, competitions or promotions and prize delivery is contingent upon verification that the prize winner meets the age requirements stated in the Official Rules.

If such verification reveals that the selected winner is not at least 13 years old, a new winner will be chosen according to the Official Rules and the personal information collected from the child under 13 years old will be deleted permanently from our database.

If you do not wish to provide the kind of information we require in connection with our prize draws, competitions and promotions, or if you are under the age of 13, you may not participate in these activities.
