We've already talked about how we do things differently at TK Maxx, with our buyers closing deals the whole year round. But for that to work well, it's important that our supply chain is just as dynamic. The quicker merchandise gets to our stores, the quicker it can be sold. And that means our buyers can continue to bring in new products and ranges on a regular basis, to keep our customers happy.

To meet these demands, we've developed a highly sophisticated and unique approach to distribution and logistics. This involves an extremely short supply chain, with distribution services provided by four processing centres located in Milton Keynes, Stoke, Walsall and Wakefield.

In each building a big team of associates, working in a fast-paced environment, is dedicated to providing an efficient, flexible and quality-focused service to our business.

All merchandise received by associates in these centres undergoes a series of processes to add value to the product and make it ready for sale in store. The cross docking centres then pick up the baton and ensure a frequent flow of deliveries to store.
