THE MERCHANDISING & BUYING GRADUATE PROGRAMME
THE MERCHANDISING & BUYING GRADUATE PROGRAMME – Starting salary £22,000 per annum
This Merchandising & Buying Graduate Programme, like our Off-Price business model, is unconventional and unlike most other retailers. Our programme takes place in the two areas which are at the heart of making our concept work: Merchandising and Buying. Why so different? We source, plan and buy every day of the year and according to the market. So we must use every ounce of flexibility and fresh thinking we have. Our people are empowered to make their own decisions, even when it comes to spending the Company’s money to get the best deals.
With over 700 people in the broader TJX Buying organisation and over 15,000 vendors globally it is essential that we identify and develop talented Associates to become successful buyers of the future, especially considering the growth potential of our business. Spending time in our Merchandising function initially affords an understanding of the fundamentals of our business enabling Associates to be well equipped for future roles in both Merchandising and Buying. It is a structured career path with continuous training and progression opportunities into Merchandising or Buying. At TJX Europe we invest in our graduates, their development and careers. This will lead for some to careers in Buying and ultimately, a potential future in Executive Management.

THE DISTRIBUTION GRADUATE PROGRAMME
THE DISTRIBUTION GRADUATE PROGRAMME – Starting salary £22,000 per annum
TJX Europe boasts one of the most dynamic Supply chains in the Industry so it is vital that our supply chain is just as dynamic as our buying model. Due to this we have developed a highly sophisticated and unique approach to warehousing, distribution and logistics, with extremely quick turnaround. Our stores require daily deliveries, so it is important that our distribution team is always on top of things, analysing potential glitches and resolving issues as fast as possible. The quicker the merchandise gets into our stores, the quicker it sells. Simple as that.
Our Distribution Graduate Programme will give you a comprehensive insight to the Distribution function as well as our associated customers and partners. This course offers structured development, with an opportunity to rotate though several areas of Distribution, with routes through Head Office in Watford or one of our UK-based Processing Centres available, with progression leading to Senior Management in either.

THE FINANCE GRADUATE PROGRAMME
THE FINANCE GRADUATE PROGRAMME – Starting salary £25,000 per annum

Our Finance Managers help their business partners, be it in Buying, Supply Chain, Stores or Support Functions, to most effectively exploit opportunities in the marketplace, and the strong operations of The TJX Companies, Inc. and its low cost model have enabled us to deliver superior financial returns that are among the highest in retail. Join us as a Finance Graduate and you won’t be balancing the books – you’ll be intrinsic to this success, adding value and partnering across departments to drive the most commercial business priorities. During your programme you will be in a business focused financial role, not an accounting job, which has real opportunities to influence business decisions worth millions of pounds. This could involve driving profitable sales in one of our Commercial Finance teams, supporting our plans to grow from $22bn in annual revenues today to a $40bn business in the future, optimising inventory and costs for our Supply Chain and Support functions or strategic planning within our Business Planning &Analysis department.
